| Compressibility test in DivX 5 Enc |
The compressibility test in DivX 5 Enc work in this way:
- DivX 5 Enc will try to predict the maximum video size of the movie (the size you'll obtain if you encode it at 100% quality based mode).
- After this, DivX 5 Enc will compare your target video size with the predicted video size (the target video size is calculated with the encoding bitrate).
Note: calculating the target video size and the predicted video size, i don't take into account the AVI overhead.
You must do the following steps:
Step 1
In Gordian Knot, take note of the bitrate, than save your .avs file.
Step 2
In DivX 5 Enc, open the .avs file and copy the bitrate here:
Step 3
Select the % of the movie you want to test, add the job to the joblist and run it.
The result will appear in the job list after the encode:
