Compressibility tests with DivX The following tests are done with the same .avs file. The movie used for the tests have 133394 frames and is pal (25.000 fps). The encoding bitrate used is 1000, the resulting target video size is 666,970,000 bytes (i don't take in account the AVI overhead). For every single test, i've fixed the encoding parameters, than i've run the compressibility test at 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10%, 100% (note: at 100% the predicted video size is perfect, i only don't take in account the AVI overhead). For every run you can find the compressibility test value and the error from the predicted size at 100%. For some of the tests i've made a real encode at quality 100%, to compare it with the predicted video size at 100%.
